Ty Gwyn School

Due to an increased demand requirements, Ty Gwyn Special School in Cardiff required extra classroom space. The school were keen to ensure that any new classrooms would be suitable for the pupils, who may have extra behavioural or sensory challenges.

We successfully secured the contract for the supply, installation and commissioning of the electrical installation for Ty Gwyn Special School. The project consisted of electrical distribution, internal and external lighting, and emergency lighting compliant with BS 5266-1. Additionally, we installed small power, mechanical equipment supplies, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, data cabling, security, and heating and ventilation systems. Special requirements included supply and installation of interactive whiteboards, projectors and sensory equipment.

Despite the onset of the COVID19 pandemic with additional health and safety requirements and social distancing, everything was completed to the highest standards, on time, and within the allocated budget.
